Our products have been developed to help women and men who are dealing with health issues. CHEMO SABE is for patients undergoing chemotherapy. GLO is for patients having radiation treatment. And the FIVE O'CLOCK BOX is for patients hospitalized or recuperating from surgery.
Each gift contains at least 17 individually wrapped packages. Some are the same in each product - e.g., lip balm, pen, joke book (different jokes!).
All gifts were selected for one of three reasons: to enhance the well-being of the recipient; to serve a practical purpose; or simply to offer amusement and fun. If you want to know the specific items in any of our products, please contact us.
The idea behind the FIVE O'CLOCK box is that the recipients open one package every day at 5 o'clock...a.m. or p.m. - their choice. Same idea could be applied to CHEMO SABE and GLO: open one package at the same time each day. This gives the recipient something to look forward to each day. Recipients also may choose to open a package whenever they feel the need for a pick-me-up. We see our products as gifts that last for a while...a new package each day. You've probably sent flowers that cost as much as our gifts...and we like flowers. We just believe our gifts last longer and are more fun!
Can I request a certain color or wrapping paper for the gifts?
Yes! We can customize the wrapping for an additional fee. You must call to place your order.
Can I include a personalized note in the gift I purchase?
Yes, you can. We have gift tags to which you can add your own personal thoughts. Simply tell us what to write, and we'll do this for you. During the checkout process you will be asked to type in your Personalized Note. The gift tag even doubles as a handy bookmark!
Can I pick and choose the items that go into the bag/box?
No. The items have been thoughtfully and specifically chosen for each of the products.
Tell me about Maryland tax and your shipping costs.
We are required to collect Maryland state sales tax of 6% when the purchaser resides in Maryland and/or when the shipping address is in Maryland. Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery method you select and the shipping address. For more details about shipping please visit our Shipping page. How did your company get the name Susan's Gifts?
Our company was named to honor the memory of Tracy's aunt and Rona's sister Susan who lost her courageous battle against breast cancer, but who never lost her sense of humor. She inspired us by living according to this guiding principle: "If you cannot put time in your life, put life in your time."
How long has Susan's Gifts, LLC been in business?
We've been making these products since 1998 and have operated as a formal business since 2004.
For whom are these gifts appropriate?
Our products were designed for adults, both women and men. Sixteen (16) is the recommended minimum age for our current products. We are thinking about developing similar products geared for children. Stay tuned!
Do you sell wholesale?
At this time, we are not selling wholesale. We would be happy to take your name and contact information and will contact you if/when we do sell our products wholesale.
